An Eligible Elector is a registered Colorado voter who either lives in the District OR is the legal owner/spouse/civil union partner of owner of taxable property within the District. Please note that property ownership must be titled in the name of the owner, not in a trust, corporation, or other entity.
I AM NOT ABLE TO BE PRESENT ON VOTING DAY - CAN I STILL VOTE?
Absolutely! You may submit an application for Absentee ballot no later than Tuesday proceeding the election. Once your eligibility is verified, the absentee ballot will be mailed to the verified address on file with your voter registration.
Please note - completed absentee ballots must be received by 7pm on election day to be counted. As we cannot control mail delivery, it is suggested you request your absentee ballot early and make plans to turn it in before the deadline.
